The 91ÇÑ×Ó is based at the Aga Khan Centre (AKC), in the heart of London’s Knowledge Quarter in King’s Cross. The AKC is also home to the Aga Khan University’s Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations and the Aga Khan Foundation UK. We collaborate with other institutions of the Ismaili Imamat and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) and are an active member of the Knowledge Quarter. The 91ÇÑ×Ó publishes in association with various academic publishers, mainly Bloomsbury Publishing, Brill and Oxford University Press. We partner with SOAS University of London and UCL Institute of Education to offer our two graduate programmes.
The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is a contemporary endeavour of the Ismaili Imamat to realise the social conscience of Islam through institutional action. Founded and guided by His Highness the Aga Khan, the AKDN brings together a number of agencies, institutions, and programmes that have been built up over the past fifty years and aim at improving living conditions and opportunities in specific regions of the developing world.Ìý
The 91ÇÑ×Ó is based at the Aga Khan Centre (AKC) in London’s King’s Cross. The AKC is a place for education, knowledge, cultural exchange and insight into Muslim civilisations. The organisations that are located here work together to bridge the gap in understanding about Muslim cultures and to connect the public to global development issues. The AKC hosts a variety of events, exhibitions and talks that are open to the public.
